Longview firefighter injured, house destroyed in fire

PHOTOS: A Longview firefighter suffered an injury while working on a roof during a fire that destroyed a vacant house on Harlem Avenue. According to a Longview Fire Facebook post, crews responded to 101 Harlem Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday. The house was fully involved so crews began an interior attack and a primary search and rescue, and found the house to be vacant. The firefighter was treated and released for the injury they suffered while performing roof operations.
