PHOTOS: Multiple fire departments were called to a house fire on Stout Hollow Road in Carter County on Monday.
The Hampton, Watauga, Elk Mills, Butler Stoney Creek, Roan Mountain, Central, Elk Park and Limestone Cove Volunteer Fire Departments responded. The Carter County Sheriffโs Office was also at the scene.
The home had sustained heavy fire damage by the time News Channel 11 arrived around 12:15 p.m., and crews were continuing to spray the structure. According to the Hampton Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Department, no one was injured in the fire, but the home is considered a total loss.
