The Boiling Spring Fire Department says they responded to a fire that damaged two businesses Sunday. Fire officials say that at approximately 6:55 a.m., they responded to Boiling Springs Road. They say when they arrived, they found a significant fire inside the Noble Vapor retail space. A rapid suppression effort resulted in a quick knockdown of the fire. Crews shut down Highway 9 for a brief period to access the fire Hydrant across the street. Crews continued to work for approximately one hour to clear the smoke and check for fire extension. Both Noble Vapor and Pet World received damage and will be closed for an unspecified time for repairs. Officials say at this time, there are no reported injuries. The fire investigation is ongoing and will be conducted by the Spartanburg County Sheriffโs Office.
