One person was hospitalized after being trapped underneath a 30-foot boat in Westerly on Wednesday, according to the Dunnโs Corner Fire Department.
Crews responded to a home around 9:30 a.m. and discovered a patient trapped between the boat and the ground.
According to the department, the person was working on their boat when they got pinned underneath it.
Firefighters were able to free them and provide treatment. The patient was taken to a trauma center in stable condition.
