13 displaced after fire at multi-story home in Providence

Providence fire officials said six adults and seven children were displaced after a fire at a multi-story home in Providence. According to officials, the fire broke out on 59 Whittier Ave.

Providence officials said the crews found heavy fire on the first floor that had extended to the second floor. Fire Chief Derek Silva said that most of the fire was extinguished at around 1 p.m.

No one was injured. Fire officials said six adults and seven children were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
