There has been no measurable growth on the Moon Complex for several days, and containment has increased to 28%. Containment on the fire has increased to nearly one third of the perimeter, including stretches of fire line directly adjacent river lodges that have been secured. Crews continue to make progress strengthening fire line in other areas and completing mop up. Firefighters are focused on repairing fire line, completing work around structures in the river corridor, and repairing roads. This repair work is essential to prevent sediment impacting water quality and fish spawning beds. As this work continues, containment is expected to steadily increase in the coming days.
