Hauser Fire Department perseveres after station blaze, operates from donated RV

VIDEO: The Hauser Fire Department is updating the public on its status after its building burned down three 3 weeks ago. We were allowed into the charred remains to see how the department continues to operate despite the challenges.

The department is currently working out of an RV that was donated to them a few days after the department went up in flames. Chief Jerry Wharton says that working out of a vehicle brings a heap of challenges.

“Every time you turn around you have another challenge because you go to do stuff like normal, that stuffโ€™s not there anymore,โ€ Chief Wharton says. โ€œYou just have to adapt and overcome and that’s something that we do on a regular basis in everything that we respond to.”
