VIDEO: A former Shari’s restaurant was damaged in an early-morning fire in Salem. The fire happened just after 3 a.m. Monday at the old restaurant along Lancaster Drive Southeast. It was burning both inside and outside the building. Crews say damage to the inside of the restaurant was limited, and no one was hurt. The Shari’s restaurant has been closed since October 2024 when the company shut down all of its Oregon locations.
