VIDEO: A large building fire left one person injured in Franklin Tuesday. According to the City of Franklin officials, the fire was started by a contractor who was doing work on the building.
Officials say the contractor hit a gas line, which started the fire. The fire only spread to the scaffolding on the back side of the building. Officials said a contractor was injured, who was taken to the hospital. One firefighter was checked out at the scene for heat. The response initially prompted Dixie Highway to shut down. It has since reopened. The City of Franklin police and fire departments responded to the scene.
