PHOTOS: Multiple fire crews worked to put out an apartment fire Wednesday morning. The fire broke out at an apartment complex located at 5365 Bellfontaine Road around 9:30 a.m.
Battalion Chief Jason Culham with the Huber Heights Fire Department says the fire started in the back of the building and moved it’s way to the front. All residents made it out safely and no injuries were reported. Culham says those residents will be unable to get back inside until further notice because of the fire and smoke damage. The American Red Cross is working with those impacted.
As of 10:30 a.m. the fire was under control. The cause of it is still under investigation. Fire crews from Huber Heights, Dayton, Butler Township and Riverside all assisted in extinguishing the fire.
