Multiple campers caught on fire at the Ohio Eagles Recreation Park early Tuesday morning. According to the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, crews were sent out for multiple campers on fire after propane tanks exploded at approximately 12:30 a.m. at the park off US 68 North.
While en route, Captain Hurley was informed of two campers on fire, and that the fire was spreading to a third. On the way, the HVFD requested full responses from Richland Township Fire and Bellefontaine Fire. Crews made an aggressive attack on the third camper fire and knocked down the first two. The other units arrived and assisted with fire containment. The Bellefontaine and Richland units were released.
