The Harwood fire chief is warning drivers to stay off roads after dash cam footage captured a near-miss incident involving two firefighters and a North Dakota State Trooper on Tuesday.
โTwo of my firefighters and a North Dakota State Trooper were almost taken out by an irresponsible driver,โ the fire chief said in a statement on Facebook. โTwo of my firefighters almost did not make it home and NDHP almost lost a vehicle because of someone not driving for the conditions.โ
The incident was captured on dash cam footage from a Harwood Fire/Rescue apparatus, according to the chief. The fire chief said the incident highlights the importance of driving safely in dangerous conditions. โThe moral of the story is, slow down and pay attention or donโt travel,โ the chief said.
