A fire broke out at an apartment building in Asheboro on Saturday. Firefighters were called to Ashewood Circle after receiving reports of an apartment fire. Crews found flames coming from the rear of a two-story occupied apartment building. The Asheboro Fire Department told WFMY News 2 that no one was hurt or displaced by the fire. Officials say the fire was contained to the exterior of the building with minor damage.
