Albuquerque firefighters get pay raises under new labor deal

Albuquerque firefighters have received a pay raise. The city says itโ€™s reached a new labor agreement with the local firefighters union, increasing pay by 4% across the board. On top of that, paramedics got an additional 15% increase, while EMT intermediates received 5% and EMT basics saw 3.5%. Pay raises for promotions are also up, and firefighters received more injury leave. The contract will be in place for the next three years.
