Two-vehicle crash in Las Vegas causes fire, sends two to hospital

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cimarron Road and Westcliff Drive at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. According to LVMPD, the collision resulted in one of the vehicles catching fire. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police say. Authorities advise avoiding the area as streets may be closed for several hours. Officials say impairment is not suspected at this time.
