A north Lincoln two-alarm fire destroyed a house, causing $650,000 in damage Saturday night. According to LFR, a garage fire was reported near North 14th Street and Humphrey Avenue at 11:04 p.m. LFR said the fire had spread to the attic. Due to the significant head start and 20 mph to 30 mph winds, firefighters upgraded the alarm.
According to LFR, the fire was put out at midnight. LFR said the house was a total loss, with over $650,000 in damage: $400,000 to the structure and $250,000 to the content. No injuries were reported, but a family was displaced.
