Gallatin County Sheriff Search and Rescue responded Monday afternoon to Sourdough Canyon, where it was reported that a person had fallen into Bozeman Creek. The person was bleeding from a leg injury. The team responded on side-by-side ATVs. The injured person was located 2.5 miles up the Sourdough Trail, in the creek. The person reported they had slipped in while fishing. A branch punctured their leg. First aid was provided and the person was returned to the trailhead where they could be transported by personal vehicle to Bozeman Health.
