The Butte-Silver Bow Fire department posted the following to Facebook: “Today, our Technical Rescue Team conducted rope training focused on advanced rescue techniques. Crews practiced “pick-offs,” where rescuers remove a stuck, injured, or unconscious patient from a rope system, as well as scenarios involving patients trapped on the Original Headframe. A special thank you goes out to The PEAK, Inc. for letting us use their training mannequin. Also thank you to 15-90 Search & Rescue and Butte-Silver Bow Parks and Recreation for their support and partnership in making this training possible. Training together and training often ensures we’re always prepared when seconds matter!”
