The Bomb and Arson Squad is investigating after a small fire led to an explosion at a car wash on Kingshighway overnight. According to police, this happened near Fountain Park, where there is some tornado damage and no power.
Officials tell First Alert 4 they found a gas can near the front of the car wash, leading them to investigate whether it was intentionally set. The bay door and glass window on the side of the car wash were blown out. There was a subject walking away around the time of the explosion, but it is unknown whether he was involved. No injuries occurred, but the Bomb and Arson Squad was called to investigate.
