Jackson County celebrated the ribbon cutting of their new Saracennia Road fire station on Tuesday.
This new building includes three large bays for firetrucks and equipment, along with office, work, and kitchen space for firefighters.
The fire station allows firefighters to reach people faster and protect more lives and property.
It also closed the coverage gap in Jackson County, enhancing public safety for residents in the Helena community and surrounding areas.
