Gas explosion as a result of North Jackson house fire, officials say

An oxygen tank explosion caused a house fire in North Jackson on Tuesday morning, according to officials at the scene located on Martin Luther King Drive. The Jackson Fire Department said they received the call just before 6 a.m., and that the home was fully involved in flames when they arrived. Jackson Fire believes it was started by human involvement. AMR and the Jackson Police Department were at the scene. No injuries have been reported.
