Duluth first responders compete in 2nd annual Battle of the Badges

Thereโ€™s nothing quite like a little friendly competition, especially when it supports a good cause. Duluth police, firefighters and paramedics went head to head in their 2nd annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. As we get closer to the summer, thereโ€™ll be more injuries from people spending time outdoors. Memorial Blood Centers say thereโ€™s a desperate need for more blood donations. Michele Keil is helping people register donors at Duluth first responders 2nd annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. She says trauma centers see a surge in patients during the summer months, and itโ€™s important to have each blood type available for future injuries.
