VIDEO: A fire at Lexington Ridge Apartment Complex near Central Michigan University displaced tenants from two units early Saturday morning. The Mount Pleasant Fire Department says firefighters responded to the scene at 3700 E. Deerfield Rd. in Union Township around 7:32 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found a small fire inside a wall and the attic of the two-story building. The fire was quickly brought under control, but the building sustained smoke, fire, and water damage. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
