No one was injured when a fire began at a Grand Rapids apartment building early Wednesday morning. The fire was called in just before 2 a.m. in the 700 block of 11th Street NW, according to the Grand Rapids Professional Firefighters Local 366. Initial reports said residents were trapped on the second floor, but fire crews confirmed everyone had evacuated the building. Fire could be seen from a second-story window. Multiple crews worked to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
