The Attleboro Fire Department honored over 30 firefighters for their bravery and service at Attleboro High School on Wednesday.
According to the department, the firefighters were given the Meritorious Service Award, which recognizes โextraordinary performance during emergencies and service to the community.โ
The ceremony also featured a formal swearing-in ceremony for new recruits, promotions, and firefighters who were unable to have a ceremony.
