VIDEO: No one was hurt after a house caught ablaze in Montgomery County on Sunday, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).
Around 5:30 p.m., firefighters responded to reports of heavy flames coming from a home in the 500 block of Mannakee Street.
There, the fire could be seen coming from the roof of the two-and-a-half-story home where roughly 60 firefighters battled the flames.
Firefighters added that the occupant safely escaped the home.
According to fire investigators, the fire appeared to have started near the back porch and resulted in nearly $1 million in damage.
