A fire broke out at a home in Cecil County on Saturday morning, causing significant damage and displacing the residents, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal. Officials reported that the blaze began around 10:31 a.m. on September 20 at 88 Wyatt Lane.
The fire originated on the exterior rear deck of the house and was first discovered by the homeowner. The estimated damage from the fire is $200,000, according to authorities. The occupants of the home have been displaced and are currently receiving assistance from the Red Cross. Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
