PHOTOS: The Franklin Fire Department has once again benefited from TC Energyโs Build Strong Program, receiving a significant boost in communication capabilities through the companyโs ongoing commitment to community support.
Thanks to funding awarded by the TC Energy Foundation, the department took delivery on Tuesday of 16 Motorola VHF portable radios and six bank radio chargers from LRC Wireless Inc. These new devices will enhance emergency response operations, ensuring that firefighters can communicate more effectively and safely during critical incidents. Franklin Fire Chief Chuck Bourgeois said TC Energy continues to make a positive impact in the communities they serve. He added that their support has enabled the fire department to purchase vital, life-saving equipment in the past, and they are grateful to benefit from their generosity once again this year. The Build Strong Program, designed to strengthen emergency response and community safety, has played a vital role in equipping first responders across the region.
