Hazmat team responds to rollover crash in Plymouth

PHOTOS: The South Bend Fire Departmentโ€™s Hazmat Team was called into service after a truck rolled over in Plymouth. The Plymouth Fire Department responded to the crash at around 7:45 in the morning. The South Bend hazmat team was called to a Zentis facility after a semi rolled over and leaked chemicals. One person was injured and taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. The South Bend Hazmat team worked to safely contain the spill and prevent further impact to the environment. The SB hazmat team is the district 2 response agency, covering 7 counties.
