VIDEO/PHOTOS: The office of the State Fire Marshal has been called in to help investigate “suspicious” fires at a West Peoria auto facility.
Dale Hoerr, the chief of the Limestone Fire Department, said his department was called out at about 2 a.m. Thursday morning to Foster’s Auto Services, located at 3523 W. Farmington Road, on a report of cars being on fire. When they arrived, they found three vehicles – two SUVs and one car – ablaze. The fire also scorched a fourth car. The chief stated that the fires were extinguished in 45 minutes.
