A man from McGregor, TX died in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 near Mountain Home early Monday morning, according to a release by the Idaho State Police. Idaho State Police said the crash happened at 1:20 a.m. at mile marker 102, in Elmore County. A 2017 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by a 35-year-old man from Texas, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes when it hit a semi truck head-on; both vehicles engulfed in flames upon impact. The semi truck was driven by 34-year-old man man from Riverside, CA. The Ram driver died at scene and the semi driver was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital.
