VIDEOS: The bodies of fallen Battalion Chiefs John Morrison and Frank Harwood returned home to Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday morning, escorted by a procession of emergency vehicles honoring their service. The procession departed from the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office at 10 a.m. and traveled eastbound on Interstate 90. The motorcade then traveled through downtown Coeur d’Alene to arrive at The English Funeral Chapel. “Our agencies want to thank the community for their overwhelming support during this difficult time,” a joint release from the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department and Kootenai County Fire & Rescue said. Morrison and Harwood were both Battalion Chiefs with the Coeur d’Alene and Kootenai County fire agencies. Details about funeral services have not yet been released.
