Crews extinguish McCully building fire in Honolulu

VIDEO: Investigators are looking into the cause of a McCully fire that broke out overnight. The Honolulu Fire Department received a call at around 3:12 a.m. on Tuesday, of a building fire located on Kapiolani Boulevard. HFD said the fire was on the second floor of the two-story residential building. Crews arrived on scene at around 3:19 a.m. and had the fire under control at 3:25 a.m. During a search of the residence, crews confirmed no one was inside at the time of the fire. The blaze was fully extinguished by 3:45 a.m. HFD said all personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported. Officials said a single occupant requested Red Cross assistance.
