VIDEO: Police arrested a man on suspicion of arson Thursday afternoon as firefighters battled two wildfires in West Oahu. The latest fire was reported at around 11:48 p.m. near the intersection of Farrington Highway and Kunia Road. According to police, a witness reported seeing the 30-year-old suspect leaving the area moments before the fire started. Officers responded and took the man into custody for arson in the second degree. The fire caused about $5,000 in damage to nearby agricultural property, police said. No evacuations or injuries were reported.
