Firefighters worked overnight to put out a house fire in Gwinnett County during storms in the area. According to the Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services, firefighters responded to the house fire Saturday around 9:55 p.m. in the 4000 block of Tower View Trl. SW in Snellville after a neighbor reported flames coming from the roof. Crews arrived and saw the fire and quickly started to bring it under control. Fire services say damage was โlimited to the attic space.โ One resident was able to get out of the house before fire crews arrived. Firefighters believe the fire was caused by a lightning strike from the storm.
