VIDEO: Cape Coral Fire Battalion Chief Nick Bonnic plans to have his head shaved at the Clips for Cancer event in September. He will have his head shaved by a pediatric center patient or survivor. The chief has agreed to raise money for programs, services and equipment that support local children fighting cancer at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
People can donate to help the chief raise money. If the donation goal is reached, he will also shave his mustache. The Clips for Cancer community event will be on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers.
