VIDEO: Crews responded early Tuesday morning to a fire at a home on Lake Ridge Heights in Middletown. According to fire officials, it originated in the homeโs attic. They said they were able to quickly extinguish the flames and conducted a thorough overhaul of the building to check for remaining hot spots. The damage was limited to the attic, and no injuries were reported. One person was inside the home at the time of the fire but was able to safely get out. The cause of the fire remained under investigation by the South Fire District Middletown Fire Marshalโs Office.
