VIDEO: Several agencies responded to a destructive barn fire northeast of Colorado Springs just after midnight on Saturday. Black Forest Fire Rescue posted about it on social media. They said they were called out at 12:22 a.m. to an outbuilding fire. It was originally reported on Snow Mass drive, but that address was corrected to one off Herring road in Black Forest, they said.
They were sent alongside the Monument Fire Protection District, Falcon Fire Department, Cimarron Hills Fire Department and the Peyton Fire Protection District. They said they could see the glow of the fire from far away. As they worked to contain and knock down the fully-involved barn fire, they said they were able to safely evacuate all humans and animals. So far, they said no injuries have been reported.
