VIDEO: Colorado Springs firefighters said one patient is safe after they responded for a high angle rescue near Bear Creek road on Saturday. They posted about it on social media at 4:45 p.m. They said they shut down Bear Creek road in both directions as they responded near Bear Creek Pull Off #3. Just after 6:00 p.m., crews said they rescued the patient off a cliff face to a ridge. They said the patient fell roughly 40 feet, and will be taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
