Volunteers recently partnered with Cal Fire’s Siskiyou Unit for specialized Swift Water Rescue Training aimed at boosting readiness when fast-moving rivers turn dangerous.

“By working side-by-side in realistic scenarios, our teams strengthened communication, sharpen critical rescue techniques, and build trustโso that when real emergencies strike, we’re ready to rapidly respond as one cohesive unit,” the rescue team said.
