VIDEO: Emergency crews responded to a small plane crash Tuesday morning at Big Lake Airport. Ken Barkley, Director of Emergency Services for the Mat-Su Borough, confirmed to Alaskaโs News Source that two people were on board and were severely injured. The plane went down just after 9:30 a.m., according to the Alaska State Troopers, who added that two men were onboard the Piper PA-32R-300 aircraft. Troopers were on the scene and are investigating the incident. The Piper airplane is a single-engine plane with retractable landing gear and can seat up to six people.
