Storms damage Jackson County volunteer fire department

VIDEO: Storms came through Jackson County Saturday afternoon and did some damage to a volunteer fire department. Strong, gusting winds hit the small town of Rosalie Saturday afternoon, thrusting Jackson County into a tornado warning. No injuries were reported, but there was quite a bit of damage at the Rosalie Volunteer Fire Department that the fire chief says could have been worse. Chief LeDare Underwood says he and 5-6 others were inside the fire stationโ€™s storm shelter when they heard loud noises outside. LeDare shared security footage with WAFF 48, which shows the moment when two big trees came crashing down right next to some of their cars, immediately followed by their metal awning flying off the building and crashing into their flagpole.
