A Huntsville woman was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence and crashing into two cars on Monday night. Huntsville Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Holmes Ave. and Triana Blvd. in response to a hit-and-run. The woman who was hit told officers that a woman in a gray sedan crossed the median and hit her car before fleeing the scene. Around the same time, officers received another accident report just south of the original location at Triana Blvd. and Governors Dr. The driver of a gray sedan reportedly ran a red light and hit a white pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck complained of injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene, officials say. The driver of the sedan, identified as 33-year-old Julie Yvette Pinchon, attempted to flee on foot, but she was quickly detained. While being escorted back to the scene and evaluated by the Huntsville Fire Department, Pinchon allegedly spat on one of the firefighters.
