VIDEO: More ambulance facilities are coming to Oxford in east Alabama that will make sure there are no delays when it comes to getting you to a hospital for the emergency health care you may need. Oxfordโs mayor says emergency calls have increased over the last four years as more people move in and the area grows. Mayor Alton Craft says originally the city was going to re-do the ambulance facility they already have. With an 18-mile radius for service, the mayor says it made more sense to build three new facilities in order to cut response times down. Craft says when you call for ambulance service, every moment counts. He says the three locations will include the areas of Friendship, Bynum, and Alabama 21 near Munford.
