Single Role Paramedic: $68,232 โ $84,936 per year
Dual Role Firefighter/EMT: $72,288 โ $92,256 per year

About the District:
The McMinnville Fire District was formed in July 2023, and has strong financial stability and projected significant service improvements for the residents in and around McMinnville.
The District is a state-of-the-art combination department consisting of Firefighter / EMS positions, a strong roster of volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technicians, and a Fire and Life Safety Division. The District currently staffs five full-service ambulances and one fire engine with fully qualified Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians.
Since it was established, the McMinnville Fire District has already added one additional fire station and is projected to add at least one additional fire station.ย We have added new Fire and EMS positions and staff, and have already made significant improvements in our apparatus and other equipment, which will continue over the next few years. The McMinnville Fire District services a 450 square mile Ambulance Service Area which includes many of the small communities that lie within Yamhill County. The McMinnville Fire District also services 97 square miles for fire protection. As a Dual Role employee with us, you’ll act as an integral part of a crew for EMS, rescues, and other emergency calls. You will be challenged with unique emergency medical calls requiring a thorough understanding of paramedic services, be a part of further establishing a new District, and helping us build toward a long and sustainable future.
