Dollar Lake, Willow Creek fire evacuation orders downgraded

Wildfire-related evacuation orders in both Sublette and Lincoln counties have been downgraded as containment of the Dollar Lake Fire and Willow Creek Fire improves.

In areas of Sublette County surrounding the Dollar Lake Fire, everything south of the Bridger-Teton National Forest boundary (end of State Highway 352) to Black Butte Road has now been returned to the โ€œreadyโ€ state, using the โ€œready, set, goโ€ evacuation scale. Red Cliff Bible Camp and structures north of Union Pass Road (FS RD 660) remain in โ€œgo.โ€ The fire is 15,243 acres in size and 31% contained as of Wednesday morning.

In Lincoln County near the Willow Creek Fire, the evacuation zone from US89โ€™s milepost 75 (near Gommโ€™s Pond Lane) to Salt River Pass has been lowered to โ€œsetโ€ status. Residents west of US89 from Reeves-Schwab Lane South to Gommโ€™s Pond are also in โ€œsetโ€ status. โ€œGoโ€ orders could be initiated by Lincoln County Homeland Security & Emergency Management; residents can use this link to sign up to receive notifications. The fire is 4,066 acres in size and 43% contained as of Wednesday morning.
