Two firefighters from the Casper Mountain Fire District are now on the front lines of the massive Lee Fire in Colorado. The blaze, which sparked on August 2nd following a lightning storm near Meeker, has quickly grown to an estimated 45,000 acres. Hot, dry conditions and strong winds are fueling its rapid spread. The Casper Mountain team deployed with a brush truck to assist in the firefighting effort. Crews from multiple states are working around the clock to contain the fire.
