Two rescued from La Crosse house fire, nobody injured 

VIDEO/PHOTOS: La Crosse’s Fire Department responded to a building fire Thursday morning. Fire Crews responded to the 1000 block of Losey Boulevard around 1:25 a.m. and found heavy fire coming from the building with two people trapped on the second floor inside. In a release Thursday morning, the La Crosse Fire Department said they rescued the two individuals while applying water and searching the remainder of the building. 

All individuals and four animals were located with no injuries reported, according to the fire department. 18 firefighters and eight apparatuses responded to the fire. The fire department said there was heavy smoke and fire damage to the structure. The fire remains under investigation, according to the La Crosse Fire Department.
