VIDEO: One person was found dead after Door County deputies responded to a report of a water tank explosion on Saturday morning. Around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, the Door County Sheriffโs Office received a call about a water tank explosion at Harbor Village Resort and Campground in Egg Harbor.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a storage building that had been partially destroyed by the explosion. The Egg Harbor Fire Department says an initial investigation found that the resort was flushing water lines to winterize the park, causing a 3,000-gallon water tank to explode
They also found a dead person outside the building. The investigation is still ongoing, and deputies have not provided any information about the person who died. The Egg Harbor Fire Department, Egg Harbor Emergency Medical Responders, and Door County Emergency Services also responded to this incident.
