VIDEO: As first responders across southeast Wisconsin continue to rescue people from the homes and other flood-ravaged property, one of the efforts was an exhaustive operation with a fortunate outcome, as documented in newly released body camera video. When witnesses called Menomonee Falls 911 to report a father and son stuck in the Menomonee River, police and firefighters rushed to the scene to find Good Samaritans already starting the effort to attempt a save by forming a human chain. Multiple fire department units stationed themselves along the river, hoping to snag the two from the water. According to the body camera video, obtained by 12 News on Tuesday, the crews had both victims along the side of the river at one point.
